The third season boasts a host of guest stars including Dean Martin, Scatman Crothers, Stephen Collins, Jamie Lee Curtis, and many others. Kick back, press play, and be prepared for the Angels to blow you away!
Our Take: Ahhh, the Angels. Season Three of Charlie's Angels had arguably the best cast line-up in the show's run. Of course, Farrah Fawcett left after the first season but was ably replaced by Cheryl Ladd, and season three was the last year with Kate Jackson in the cast, before she left and changed the line-up even more dramatically. At this point, the show was still flying high.
The third season is a lot of fun. It's the usual mix of undercover work, martial arts fights, and sleazy bad guys, but that's what makes the show great. We get to see the girls in Las Vegas, drive race cars, act as psychics, get amnesia (well, not all of them), go on the lam, go skiing, and run a marathon, among other things. The season's amazing roster of guest stars includes Robert Urich, Dean Martin, Vic Morrow, Stephen Collins, Jamie Lee Curtis, Casey Kasem, Ray Wise, Gary Collins, Robert Davi, Jonathan Frakes, Billy Barty, and Scatman Crothers. Wow!
As with the previous sets, this collection of Charlie's Angels comes sans extra features. Luckily, the show is still better than the two recent movies, so fans should find a lot to enjoy.
